RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with other Managers and the GM to set and achieve sales targets, driving the team to meet and exceed goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring a diverse and profitable stock of vehicles
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to enhance their performance and product knowledge.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall dealership performance.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, leveraging trust to increase sales and referrals
- Continuously seek opportunities for business growth and improvement within the sales department.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES POSSESS:
- Previous automotive dealership experience is required.
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager role within a dealership environment.
- Minimum of 3–6 years of sales experience.
- Proficient with DMS software
- Highly dependable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
