Reporting to Service Manager, you will work closely with experienced technicians,
gaining valuable hands-on experience and essential technical skills. This role
supports the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, from scheduled maintenance to
more advanced repairs, with structured mentorship to support progression within
the automotive industry.
Key
Responsibilities:
·
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
in accordance with our Dealership and Lexus standards
·
Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills,
proficient use of diagnostic equipment, and in-depth understanding of vehicle
systems
·
Identify and diagnose issues beyond those noted on
the work order
·
Communicate diagnoses and recommended repairs
clearly to guests and internal team members
·
Plan ahead and communicate parts requirements
promptly to the Parts Department
·
Immediately notify the Service Manager or Service
Advisors if additional work is needed, work is not required, or repairs cannot
be completed in the allotted time
·
Road test vehicles to provide a quality check on
work performed
·
Accurately document all work performed in the PBS
work order system
·
Complete PBS inspections with accuracy and in a
timely manner
·
Maintain shop areas in a neat, orderly manner and
ensure proper use and return of dealership tools and equipment
·
Maintain certifications and regularly update
product and technical knowledge
·
Support your Shop Foreman and Team Lead
·
Exhibit responsible, punctual, honest, and
motivated behavior while contributing to a safe and positive work environment
·
Other duties as assigned by Management
What You
Bring:
· Valid Class A Driver’s Licence and a clean driving record
·
Comfortable operating both manual and automatic
transmissions
·
Strong mechanical aptitude and sound understanding
of technical repairs
·
A team-oriented mindset with excellent
interpersonal skills
·
Upbeat, engaging attitude and a commitment to
providing high-quality service
·
Eagerness to learn, take direction, and
continuously improve
·
Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and
reliability
·
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while
